Making sense of Steve Jobs Thoughts on Flash

What's all the controversy about? It so happens to be, that steve jobs the head of Apple Computers released a statement stating that adobe flash products would not be allowed on apple i phones, i pods and i pads. Stating six reasons why.
First,  Adobe's flash products are only available from adobe and classified as a closed system.
Second, Adobe has said  that Apple mobile devices cannot access the full web because 75% of video on the web is in Flash, all though 40% video is available in a more modern format H.264 available on i phones, ipods and ipads.
Third. Is reliability, security and performance.  Flash has been highlighted as having one of the worst security records in 2009 and is contributed to causing Macs to crash and just doesn't perform well on mobile devices.
Fourth, Battery life. Fifth, theres touch. Flash was designed for PCs using mice, not for touch screens using fingers.
Flash is a cross platform development tool or a third party browser plug-in that creates graphics, typography and animations. HTML 5 is an open, new web standard that has been adopted by many, including Apple and google to create advanced graphics, typography, animations and transitions without a third party browser plug in. My thoughts about this subject is, that Steve Jobs is one of the biggest hypocrites in the business, he even admits that many of Apples products are closed system but for some reason he feels that applications such as Flash and  or HTML 5 CSS and Java Script should be open.
All though it's yet to be seen that Mr.Jobs has any real valuable argument when it comes to Adobe Flash.
One reviewer comments that Steve Jobs, tries to portray himself as a experienced software developer when in reality all he has is a marketing degree. I don't really know, but if you ask me it comes right down to, new technology, business and more money for Apple by over riding the competition.
